about

“21, know as the shape of accordion to come”, published Dec. 2021, is the new release of Bandius Companion.

21 reconfirm the sound of Bandius Companion as one of the most curious in the fusion and alternative panorama, and goes one step ahead in the live studio recordings of this ambitious project that seeks to create a hybrid of acoustic and electrified instruments guided by an accordion composition.

This research has led to a new compact sound which, like in a film and through music, evokes an adventure full of emotions.
Continuing with the formula of the previous “Preguntas Fractales”, in twenty minutes “21” raises the stakes and goes even further, from smooth to powerful climax, with echoes of progressive music, simple melodies, and pressing rhythms, achieving a new milestone in the sound of the Barcelona sextet.

BANDIUS COMPANION
is a group that produces weird acoustic-electrified music inspired by the analog sound that comes from world music tunes, fusion, grooves & psychedelia.

Start recording music as an accordion solo and self-produced project, today BC continues to wander in the underground scene, with a combo that combines twenty years of experience in other rock, classical, electronic, and jazz music projects.

The result is a pure & characteristic sound, that revisits the accordion folk music composition in an unusual contest.
